MORTGAGE & LENDING LICENSING EXPERT
When you speak with Suzanne Weaver, it doesn’t take long to recognize the depth of experience she brings to Cornerstone, and the warmth she brings to every client relationship.
Suzanne joined Cornerstone as an Account Executive on the Sales Team. From day one, her role has been centered on helping clients understand their licensing needs and setting up the right projects to move them forward. But she doesn’t just speak from theory, she speaks from hands-on experience.
Before joining Cornerstone, Suzanne spent over a decade in real estate and more than 12 years in the mortgage industry, including time as a licensed mortgage loan originator and as a licensing and compliance manager. “I’ve owned and operated several businesses, and I’ve held licenses myself,” she says. “It helps a lot when I talk to clients. They know I understand the challenges they’re dealing with.”
Suzanne describes Cornerstone’s work environment as one that encourages continuous growth. “Every day is a learning experience,” she shares. “There’s always something new to dig into, whether it’s expanding a current knowledge base or discovering something completely new. That’s what makes this role so dynamic.”
She’s especially grateful for her teammates: “I really enjoy working with the Sales Team. Christy is the best.”
Suzanne’s ability to relate to clients who work in mortgage, lending, and real estate makes her a valuable bridge between technical licensing requirements and practical business needs. Her contributions directly support Cornerstone’s mission to help clients navigate complex regulations with confidence.
Outside of work, Suzanne stays grounded through family and the Idaho outdoors. With her two children now grown—one in the Navy and one studying aeronautics at Liberty University—she’s moved to Idaho to be closer to her mom and sisters.
Weekly family dinners and game nights are a staple in Suzanne’s life, as are long hikes with her dog, Solo. She’s recently taken up Country Swing dancing and enjoys exploring local wineries. “Solo and I go on a lot of adventures,” she laughs.
