What changed

Illinois continued to carry multiple proposed financial services rules that were identified by IDFPR as not currently in effect.

Compliance perspective

Student loan servicers, money transmitters, and digital asset businesses operating in Illinois should monitor these proposals and prepare gap assessments before final adoption. The proposals signal active rulemaking in several licensed sectors even though no final late-July action was confirmed.
