A typical filing includes the business's legal name and entity information, ownership and responsible-party details, the physical and mailing addresses for each location, a description of business activity (often keyed to a NAICS code), and the applicable registration fee. Register the entity itself (and appoint a registered agent, if formed out of state) before or alongside the license filing, and layer any industry-specific state licenses, sales or excise tax accounts, and local city or county licenses on top; the statewide license does not replace them.
Renewals
